COMPASS ROSE ACADEMY
White’s Residential & Family Services is the largest nonprofit social services agency in Indiana offering accredited and comprehensive residential, emergency shelter, foster care, independent living, adoption and home-based services. In an effort to expand its overall mission of preserving the well-being of youths and families, White’s founded Compass Rose Academy for teens in crisis who have not yet entered the juvenile justice system. The privately funded affiliate provides both a residential treatment center for troubled teens and a variety of support services for parents who are not ready to consider residential placement for their child. White’s asked Hirons to develop the new Compass Rose brand and strategic marketing plan, including development of a website.
Hirons launched the Compass Rose Academy brand in 2012, complete with a comprehensive collateral package that included an eight-page view book. The website launched later in the year with rich content and enhanced search engine optimization to increase the organization’s visibility. Compass Rose officially opened its doors on Aug. 8, 2012, and has been in continuous operation ever since.
