Tom Hirons is an alumnus of Indiana University with his bachelor's degree in Arts and Sciences and post-graduate studies in marketing, public and environmental affairs, and journalism. Tom studied and worked with Philip Ward Burton and credits Mr. Burton, a pioneer in tracking and predicting advertising effectiveness, as his mentor.
Tom has motivated his 30-year-old agency with $34 million in annual capitalized billings to build partnerships of respect with clients. He holds valued and trusted positions in industry and academia, including serving on several boards and at the Indiana University School of Journalism as the "Riley Professor." In the 1990s, Tom operated two offices in China working with such high-profile clients as Cummins Engine and IBM.
Tom has two children, Dan and Meghan who are graduates of Indiana University and are working in video production and new media.
